For cleaning applicator units and tools which have been soiled with crosslinked PUR hot melts.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION:

• cleaning applicators and tools that use PUR hot melt adhesives

CHARACTERISTICS:

Jowat 930.60 is cleaner for melt and applicator units, disassembled tools, nozzles and seals of PTFE.

APPLICATION:

Melt and appliacator units may be cleaned by continuous circulation of the cleaner which has been heated to 180 – 190 °C. The cleaning of disassembled tools, nozzles and seals of PTFE (Teflon, Hostaflon etc.) can be carried out in a bath of cleaner also heated up to 180 – 190 °C. Depending on the amount of reacted/crosslinked adhesive, cleaning may take approx. 60 min. The cleaner should not be allowed to reach temperatures above 190 °C. Tools and disassembled parts are cooled under running water after removal from the bath, then dried.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE:

Storage in properly closed original containers, cool and dry (15 – 25 °C).
